Key Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients receiving hemodialysis treatments. Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis and monitor their response to treatment. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols. Provide patient education regarding dialysis treatment, medications, access care, diet, and overall health management. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized plans of care. Accurately complete nursing assessments and treatment documentation. Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and dialysis-related emergencies. Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives. Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented clinical environment.
