Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12-hour Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including every other weekend.

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift role. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting, ensuring the safe and effective management of patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Assist in managing patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Float between like units as needed to meet facility requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active South Carolina RN license or a compact license in hand before starting.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Telemetry competency is required; previous charge experience and community hospital experience are preferred.
