Sales Consultant, Trauma (Raleigh - Durham, NC) - Johnson & Johnson MedTech - Orthopaedics

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Sales Consultant for the Raleigh-Durham trauma territory to develop surgeon and account relationships, drive product sales, and support surgical cases. The role combines prospecting, customer relationship management, and clinical support within the orthopedics sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective surgeons and accounts; develop territory-specific sales strategies
• Drive product sales and market penetration for assigned trauma portfolio within geographic territory
• Build and maintain relationships with key surgeons, OR personnel, and hospital stakeholders
• Provide in-operative case support and conduct educational in-services for surgeons and OR staff
• Manage inventory, promotional materials, and competitive threats while achieving sales quotas

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years professional experience, or Associate degree/medical certification plus 5+ years, or 8+ years experience
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel including weekends and overnight stays
• Ability to work in operating room and lab environments
• Strong interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Data analysis experience and results-oriented mindset
• Capacity to work independently within complex reporting structures
