Lead Diesel Technician

I ntroduction: An established construction company in greater Portland is seeking a Lead Mechanic/Maintenance Manager to service their fleet of heavy-duty vehicles/equipment and oversee shop operations five days a week. What You’ll Do: Manage all aspects of maintenance and repair for heavy construction equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and procedures for equipment longevity. Manage inventory of parts and supplies ensuring availability for repair work. What You Bring: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance and management. Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components and the functionality of heavy machinery. Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team building and mentoring. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
