The Eye Clinic of North Dakota in Bismarck, ND is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced ophthalmologists and optometrists, providing essential support in delivering high-quality eye care services to our patients.Key Responsibilities:Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists in conducting eye exams and testsPerform diagnostic tests such as vision screenings, lensometry, and tonometryAdminister eye medications as directed by providersHelp educate patients on proper eye care and treatment plansMaintain accurate and detailed patient recordsEnsure equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and maintainedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in an ophthalmology or optometry setting preferred, but not requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCertification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or willingness to obtain certificationSchedule: M-F with travel weekly to satellite locations.
