Sr. Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager who can drive strategy and execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a customer focused environment and has experience in Martech SaaS product marketing. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally directly with Sales, Product, and Engineering and within Marketing to have a direct impact on the product strategy, go-to-market and success of the company. What You’ll Be Doing: Leverage market research, competitive analysis, internal and external data points, and customer insights to understand market requirements to guide positioning, packaging, pricing and the product roadmap. Work with Marketing, Product and Engineering leadership to create a long-term product strategy that meets customers’ needs and differentiates from the competition to create growth and market defensibility. Collaborate with marketing, sales and customer success teams on the development of enablement training, sales tools, demos and collaterals to communicate product capabilities and value proposition. Meet with customers to identify challenges, opportunities, and trends. Supply this information to internal stakeholders to shape solutions that address product gaps and keep Act-On at the forefront of marketing technology innovation. Act as a representative of the company with influencers, analysts, earned media and at events, ensuring expertise and differentiation is clear across all channels. Provide input to thought leadership efforts, supporting work with industry and professional association, as well as PR efforts. Who You Are: 5+ years product marketing experience with SaaS and/or marketing software products Strong understanding of the digital marketing (“martech”) landscape and evolving technologies Demonstrated track record of driving change and successful projects, with well-defined results that connect directly to business objectives. Ability to move between high level strategic thinking and detailed execution, managing priorities and staying organized throughout. Experience talking with customers and the skills to understand what makes them tick. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical details into compelling benefits and sales enablement materials. Ability to stay level-headed in a dynamic environment with ever-changing priorities. Excellent analytical skills with a "test and learn" mindset. Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's degree in a related field OR equivalent experience About Act-On Act-On helps marketers orchestrate the full customer lifecycle — from first touch to long-term retention. Compensation: The anticipated compensation for this position will be $130,000 - $145,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on a combination of factors, including the selected candidate’s skills, experience as well as internal and external equity.
