This contract position will have you working closely with students, educators, and other professionals in a dynamic educational environment near Kent, WA. Key Qualifications:

• Current OSPI certification required.
• Previous experience working as a physical therapist in a school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families.
• Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to manage responsibilities across multiple locations as needed.
• Comfortable working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students with physical, motor, or functional difficulties within an educational setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student participation in academic activities and routines.
• Document sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Provide consultation and recommendations for accommodations, assistive equipment, and classroom modifications.
• Travel between assigned school locations as necessary.

This assignment is full time with a preferred schedule of 40 hours per week. The position is set to begin immediately and extends through December 18, 2026, offering the chance for lasting impact over multiple school years.
