About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: ACLS, PALS Must-Have: RN who can circulate as well as scrub and/or assist. RN with ACLS and PALS certifications. Surgical technicians who can scrub as well as assist and/or have Central Sterile knowledge. Description: The operating room consists of 4 operating rooms. The unit is staffed with 16 personnel. Staff includes charge nurses, RNs, surgical technicians, and surgical assistants. Each patient ratio is 1:1. Patients are undergoing general, orthopedic, neuro, and ENT procedures. Equipment includes specialty OR beds and electrosurgical devices. All nursing personnel are required to adhere to a specific dress code. Scrub color is cornflower blue, and outside scrubs are not permitted. Hair covers, masks, and eye protection are mandatory. Jewelry is not allowed for personnel in scrubs. Fingernails should be clean, short, and well-manicured at all times. Candidates with preferred skills will be given priority in the recruitment process.
