Music Therapist

Music Therapist | Legacy Lifecare VNA/Hospice $75/per visit (licensed) PRN | 5-20hrs per week | Flexible Daytime Hours Delivering Solutions That Matter Deliver individual music therapy sessions tailored to patient preferences and goals Use music to address relaxation, pain management, emotional processing, developmental support, and end-of-life/bereavement needs Collaborate with patients, family members and other team members to align with the patient's overall care plan Coverage area includes German Center (West Roxbury), ANRC (Jamaica Plain), Stone (Newton), BCL/Kaplan (Peabody) Revere, East Boston, Everett, Malden, Chelsea, and Winthrop. Qualifications For Success Bachelor's degree in music therapy or related field Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC) from an AMTA-approved program Prior experience working with end-of life patients, or in a long-term care setting preferred Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to patient homes or hospice facilities.
