Food Service Director FSD
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Food Service Director FSD to join our team at Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a renowned healthcare organization located in Philmont, New York. Food Service Director FSD Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive food service plan that meets the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and patients
Manage a team of food service staff, including culinary staff, dietary aides, and maintenance personnel
Oversee food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and nutrition education
Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation
Coordinate with the culinary team to develop and execute catering services for special events and gatherings
Monitor food costs and inventory, and make recommendations for cost-effective purchasing and inventory management
Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, social services, and activities, to ensure that food service meets the needs of our residents and patients
Food Service Director FSD Requirements:
Prior experience in food service management
Possess strong leadership and management skills , with the ability to motivate and direct a team of food service staff
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations , with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work effectively with residents, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
