Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician certification: Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA): Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patient rooms and opening sterile supplies for procedures.
• Support the surgical team during operative procedures by providing needed supplies and instruments.
• Participate in timeouts for each case.
• Assisting nursing staff in deliveries as directed, including preparation, positioning, and transportation of patients.
• Collect urinalysis specimens and monitor maternal vital signs, weight, height, and intake & output measurements.
• Perform personal care services and assist with daily living activities for patients.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
