FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment at Cherokee Medical Center. Position Details Location: Cherokee Medical Center – 1530 North Limestone Street, Gaffney, SC 29340 Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (details provided during interview) Pay: $15.00 per hour (fixed rate) No prior experience required; training provided Applications accepted online only Key Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and apply proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas. Apply correct procedures to carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Execute other duties assigned by the manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Ability to follow safety procedures. Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. frequently.
