Job Description
The primary role of Driving Academy’s Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Instructor is to ensure that our students are given the highest quality education in preparation for their CDL road test. You will be working hands on with students at our training yard to help them perfect their pre-trip/in-cab inspection, parking maneuvers, road driving skills, and how to operate a commercial vehicle safely in accordance with applicable laws, in all outdoor conditions. Training is provided for candidates that possess a Class A CDL that have no prior instructor experience. Friendly flexible work environment. All CDL Class A holders are invited to apply.
Experience Required:
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of on-the-road experience within the last 5 years
- Valid CDL-A License
- Must have current DOT medical card
- As operator of Class A equipment, ability to pass DOT drug tests upon hire and on an ongoing basis
