Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager Location: Atlanta, GA Overview The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Distribution Center, focusing on transportation, warehousing, and related services to achieve customer satisfaction, cost objectives, and safety compliance. Job Responsibilities Responsible for all aspects of shipping and receiving functions, working closely with carrier partners. Collaborate with corporate management and personnel. Maintain control of inventory and equipment. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Secure property and protect against loss. Operate efficiently using effective packing, set‑up, delivery, pick‑up methods and capacity planning. Minimize work‑related injuries and losses, complying with OSHA guidelines and company directives. Direct, hire, train, develop and evaluate drivers, warehouse personnel and supervisory staff. Execute company policies, procedures, and programs professionally and timely. Qualifications 5+ years of warehouse team management experience. Exposure to all key facets of distribution operations. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP software. Experience with forklift, stock picker, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment a plus. Problem‑solving attitude with a “can do” mindset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task and handle deadline‑oriented tasks.
