Employment Type: Part-Time | Contract (1 Year + 2 Optional Extensions)
Job Summary
Guru Consulting Services LLC is seeking an experienced QA & Performance Engineer to support a large-scale Higher Education WordPress modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, performance, accessibility, and reliability of enterprise web applications through comprehensive testing, performance optimization, security validation, and release verification. The role requires close collaboration with developers, UI/UX designers, project managers, and accessibility specialists to deliver secure, high-performing, and user-friendly digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT test plans.
- Validate WordPress enhancements, plugins, themes, and custom functionality.
- Perform website performance testing and optimize Core Web Vitals.
- Conduct accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and cross-browser compatibility testing.
- Verify software releases, deployments, and security updates.
- Track defects, prepare QA reports, and collaborate with Agile development teams.
- Support continuous quality improvement and performance optimization initiatives.

- Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, security validation, and release management.
