Guaranteed Hours (Weekly): 40

Duration: 13 weeks

Contract Type: Travel

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Boston, MA. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There may be occasional requirements to work one weekend day every few weeks.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures while adhering to radiation protection principles to minimize patient exposure.
Stay informed about and observe universal precautions and all other safety protocols established by New England Baptist Hospital.
Communicate effectively with patients to gather important clinical information, provide instructions, ease anxiety, and ensure cooperation during procedures.
Apply excellent guest relations and customer service skills.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Exhibit strong teamwork capabilities.
Function efficiently in a fast-paced and often stressful environment.

Requirements:

Preferred: 2 years of full-time experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Experience with OR Imaging and Diagnostic Imaging.
Background in a hospital or surgical center setting.
Valid ARRT registration and MA license.
COVID-19 vaccines and booster required at the time of submission.
Active MA license required at the time of submission.
Must not have worked as permanent or travel staff for any Beth Israel facility within the past year.
