Retail and Casino Shipping Distribution Specialist

The Warehouse Distribution will be responsible for accurate picking, packing, inspecting, transporting, loading, and unloading of inbound, outbound and work-in-process secure casino products. Casino Distribution Specialists comply with all standard operating procedures to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of critical casino shipments and adherence to procedures designed to comply with various gaming regulations

This is a 1st Shift position; the hours are Monday-Friday 7 am to 3 pm

What you'll do as a Casino Warehouse Distribution :

• Follow established safety policies, including daily maintenance check sheets
• Loading/Unloading shipments on and off various carriers
• Put away, pick/pack, audit and ship product
• Inspection of product and shipment to ensure all work instructions and procedures are adhered to
• Complete necessary shipment documentation and entry for small package deliveries
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area and adhere to 5S guidelines
• Complete power equipment training and certification process and operate powered industrial trucks to transport and retrieve product
• Ensure 100% accuracy and on-time shipment of all casino product shipments and adhere to rigorous controls required to comply with various gaming regulations

We're looking for a Casino Warehouse Distribution with:

Knowledge

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of work experience
• Prior warehouse experience in shipping is strongly preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent work experience
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Skills

• Self-directed and able to safely work at a pace that meets or exceeds the departmental standards
• Able to read, understand and follow picking/packing instructions
• Able to perform basic math functions

• Team-oriented, has excellent attendance, and professional communication skills
• Pays attention to detail

• Basic computer skills and able to work with SAP.
• Can work flexible hours with minimal notice

• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks

Physical requirements and working conditions:

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

• Must be able to wear ALL safety equipment including a 5 point body harness and follow ALL OSHA requirements
• Lift / push / pull up to 35lbs continuously and 50lbs occasionally
• Standing and walking 95% of work time
• Ability to work up to 12 hours a day
• This Casino Warehouse Distribution position is located on-site in our Erlanger, Ky facility
