Ultrasound Technologist Maternal Fetal

Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal is responsible for performing specialized ultrasound examinations focusing on maternal fetal and obstetric care. This role requires expertise in high-risk pregnancy imaging and collaboration with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic information. The position is a 13-week contract with a 2-4 week unit orientation, working primarily day shifts on a 4x10 schedule, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities:

• Perform maternal fetal and obstetric ultrasound examinations with accuracy and professionalism.
• Provide high-quality imaging for high-risk pregnancy cases.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document and report findings in compliance with clinical protocols.
• Participate in unit orientation and adapt to staffing needs as required.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active ARDMS certification in OB/GYN ultrasound.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of maternal fetal and obstetric ultrasound experience.
• Experience in high-risk obstetric imaging.
• Ability to work 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Active licensure compliant with local compact license regulations.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Previous experience working in a maternal fetal medicine or high-risk OB unit.
• Familiarity with unit orientation processes and flexible staffing requirements.

Special Considerations:

• No weekend or holiday shifts required.
• No floating to other units.
• No call requirements.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position.
• Perm candidates from other providence facilities separated for at least 3 months may be eligible for travel contracts.
• Manager interviews all auto offer candidates.
• Return to office (RTO) requirement of 3 days or less for auto offer.

Scheduling:

• 13-week contract with 2-4 weeks of unit orientation.
• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday.
• Day off during the week may vary based on staffing needs.
