Activities Assistant - Full Time @ $17 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Lead and assist with engaging activities, events, classes, outings, and special programs.
• Encourage resident participation and help create a welcoming, fun, and active community atmosphere.
• Assist with planning, setup, execution, and cleanup of programs and events.
• Accompany and assist with community outings and excursions.
• Maintain activity calendars and program records.
• Support a vibrant lifestyle program that promotes social connection, wellness, lifelong learning, and enjoyment.

• Is confident and competent leading groups and speaking in front of residents.
• Is flexible and willing to help wherever needed to ensure programs are successful.
• Enjoys building relationships and engaging with older adults.
• Can work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Is dependable, organized, and committed to providing excellent resident experiences.

Schedule

This position offers full-time hours with scheduling flexibility. Some evenings, weekends, and special events may be required.


Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous experience in recreation, activities, hospitality, customer service, education, event planning, performing arts, or senior living is preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and document participation as needed.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Kind, reliable, compassionate, and enthusiastic.
• Excellent resource management and computer skills.
