Service Manager- Electrical or Construction

Service Manager‑Electrical or Construction Location: Kansas City, MO Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 Salary (or more depending on experience) About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a well-established electrical contractor in Kansas City that is growing and looking for a strong Service Manager. This person will run the day‑to‑day service operation across residential, commercial, and industrial accounts. They need someone who already understands service work and can keep crews, work orders, customers, schedules, and costs organized. What You’ll Be Doing Manage daily electrical service operations Coordinate and schedule service work orders from start to finish Dispatch and support service crews Oversee residential, commercial, and industrial service work Communicate with customers, employees, vendors, and internal teams Track job progress, labor hours, materials, costs, and timelines Make sure work is completed on time, on budget, and done right Support customer service, billing, and documentation Manage ongoing maintenance schedules for service accounts Monitor crew productivity, safety, and overall performance Improve department efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability Solve problems quickly when priorities or schedules change What They’re Looking For Experience managing or coordinating service crews, schedules, and work orders Strong understanding of electrical service operations Background with residential, commercial, and/or industrial accounts Ability to manage multiple active jobs at once Strong communication with customers, field teams, vendors, and internal staff Experience with service operations, customer service, job costing, billing, or basic accounting Knowledge of electrical codes, permitting, maintenance programs, and safety practices Equivalent hands‑on electrical service experience can also work Why This Role Matters You’ll keep the electrical service department running smoothly day to day You’ll make sure crews are scheduled properly and customers are updated You’ll help keep jobs on track, profitable, and completed at a high level You’ll protect quality, cost control, safety, and customer satisfaction You’ll bring structure and accountability to a growing service operation You’ll directly impact department performance, profitability, and customer retention MOHR Talent is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
