Sanco Equipment is looking for an experienced, motivated Parts Manager to lead our parts department in Rochester, MN.
We're looking for someone who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and finding ways to grow the business. The right person will have a strong understanding of parts operations, inventory management, and customer service, along with the ability to work closely with our sales, service, and rental departments.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a department and make a real impact.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage daily parts department operations.
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, receiving, stocking, and returns.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels while reducing obsolete and aging inventory.
- Develop and improve processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Manage department performance, including sales, margins, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to grow parts sales and strengthen customer relationships.
- Work closely with service, sales, and rental teams to ensure parts availability.
- Develop employees and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Use dealership systems and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in parts management or a related equipment dealership role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing inventory, budgets, and departmental performance.
- Comfortable working with dealership management systems and technology.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction or agricultural equipment preferred.
- A hands-on leader who is organized, dependable, and focused on continuous improvement.
