Provides day to day legal counsel and operational support within a defined business or legal domain. This role works closely with business partners to ensure legal guidance aligns with business objectives and approved risk tolerance.

Job Duties

Provide day to day legal advice and guidance to business partners. Support department leadership on complex or escalated matters. Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and legal documents. Partner with business stakeholders to support execution of TJU initiatives. Identify legal risks and escalation issues appropriately. Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining quality and responsiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school. 5 years of relevant legal experience. Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis skills. Experience providing practical, solution oriented legal advice. Comfort operating in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Strong communication skills and responsiveness to tasks and shifting priorities. Ability to collaborate and work cohesively as part of a team.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
