Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse position is based in New York, NY. This specialized nursing role involves providing expert, patient-centered care in the cardiac interventional unit, emphasizing relationship-centered care, safety, and quality improvement. The nurse will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions, educator patients and families, and contribute to safety and operational excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM; schedule includes weekends, with minimum hours per week of 34.5 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, minimum of 2 years of telemetry and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CATH LAB) experience, and at least 2 years of RN experience. 1 year of travel nursing experience is preferred for travel roles, not required for per diem roles. EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or active matriculation in a BSN program, associate degree considered with relevant experience.
• Additional Information: This role involves performing charge nurse duties as assigned, coordinating supplies and staffing, documenting patient care in compliance with regulations, and facilitating patient throughput. The position requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to quality and safety practices, and the ability to project a professional and compassionate demeanor. Experience in a cath lab environment is required.
