CHEP is looking for a motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX, driving safe, efficient operations while helping shape the future of the site.What you will doThis role is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations at our Grand Prairie, TX site. The Warehouse Manager will oversee a small team and ensure safe, efficient handling of inbound and outbound pallet flow while maintaining strong inventory control and customer service standards. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both operational execution and site ownership.Lead, coach, and develop a small team while modelling CHEP’s values and cultureEnsure a safe work environment by managing and enforcing the CHEP Safety ProgramOversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory managementCoordinate inbound and outbound product flow (forklifts and trucks)Maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely system updates and data entryCommunicate effectively with internal partners, drivers, and customer stakeholdersEnsure all key processes (safety, quality, and service) are clearly understood and followedSupport daily execution by remaining hands-on, including forklift operation as neededMonitor site performance and ensure operational efficiency in a fast-paced environmentMaintain the overall condition and organization of the warehouseWhat you will bringExperience in a manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and/or logistics environmentPrevious leadership experience in a warehouse or small site operationPrior forklift operation experience requiredStrong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory controlFamiliarity with OSHA and DOT regulations strongly preferredProven track record of reliability, accountability, and performance (typically 2–5 years’ experience)Comfortable working in a hands-on role with a small teamAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesBasic systems experience (WMS, SAP, or similar) preferredMechanical aptitude or exposure to warehouse equipment is a plusQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree preferred or 3 – 5 years of equivalent work experienceSkills & KnowledgeApplicants need a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, especially ExcelDemonstrated solid decision makingWorks well unsupervisedExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsBi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plusMust be willing to work Saturdays and extended hours as necessaryLanguagesEnglishWhat we OfferCompetitive Salary with direct deposit optionsBenefits Day on your First Day!401K w/ company match (up to 4%)FREE company-paid vision, short-term disability, and life insurance!!FREE company-provided PPE and safety equipmentTuition reimbursement, parental leave, childcare assistance, profit sharing, and MORE!Compensation Statement:The salary range for this position is $67,000 to $92,000.Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore, actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided.
