As a Union driver, you will run overnight to the upper Midwest and Canada with minimal freight handling. Enjoy the open road while being part of a team that values your skills and dedication.Key Responsibilities:Operate various types of tractor trailers safely and efficiently.Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.Be prepared for overnight and weekend work to meet delivery schedules.Perform drop, hook, and spot equipment tasks as needed.Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.Carry out instructions given orally and in writing including those on manifests, bills of lading and other shipping documents to determine the location and time of delivery.Perform all duties in accordance with policies and procedures.Required Education:CDL-A LicensePreferred Education:High School DiplomaRequired Experience:Must have at least 1 year of commercial driving experienceClean driving recordMust be able to cross the Canadian borderRequired Skills and Abilities:Ability to operate various tractor trailersCompetence in conducting pre and post trip inspectionsWillingness to work overnight and weekendsSkill in dropping, hooking, and spotting equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr WPS Fresh
