About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Med/Surg, Telemetry Cardiac, PCU, Med-surg Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7a-7p Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred License: Valid State RN license or Compact License required Certifications: BLS certification required, ACLS required Must-Have: Strong MS/Tele experience Description: The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team. They are responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques. This includes obtaining past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests. They will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician. The role requires excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are also necessary.
