Maintenance Technician

Maintenance WorkerApartment community in North Adams seeking an energetic and self-motivated maintenance worker to join our team. Must be organized, dependable, and have proven proficiency with painting, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Under direction will be responsible for the on-going maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Excellent communication skills are essential as this position involves coordinating on a regular basis with management and coworkers, residents, and subcontractors. All technicians participate in a rolling on-call calendar.Broad Scope Of Duties:Repairs to building appliances and fixturesRepair or replace plumbing fixturesPatch holes in wallsPaint building interiorsClean vacant units and interior spacesMiscellaneous carpentry repairs, good carpentry skills a plus!Change locksGrounds keeping, landscaping and snow removalRate of pay depends on experience but will be between $21.
