Mexican Sugar is seeking a Busser!

Brindar un servicio amable, eficiente, atento y profesional de alimentos y bebidas, siguiendo los estándares establecidos de calidad y tiempo. Mantener un alto nivel de limpieza en todo el restaurante, no solamente en las mesas, sino en todas las áreas del establecimiento.

Apoyar a los meseros, bartenders y demás miembros del equipo ayudando a mantener las mesas limpias y organizadas, así como entregando de manera eficiente y correcta los alimentos y bebidas a los clientes. Colaborar en proyectos especiales de limpieza, incluyendo tareas de reparación y mantenimiento.

• Comunicarse con los clientes y compañeros de trabajo de manera positiva, amable y hospitalaria.
• Llegar puntualmente a los turnos programados, listo(a) para trabajar y cumpliendo con las normas de uniforme establecidas.
• Preparar y recoger las estaciones de trabajo de manera rápida y eficiente.
• Mantener limpia y organizada la estación durante el turno. Abastecer y reponer los suministros según sea necesario.
• Mantener niveles adecuados de hielo para la preparación de bebidas.
• Cumplir con todas las leyes estatales y federales relacionadas con el servicio de alimentos y bebidas alcohólicas, incluyendo mantener vigentes las certificaciones requeridas.
• Recoger, limpiar y preparar las mesas en todo el restaurante.
• Pulir cubiertos y cristalería para asegurar que el restaurante esté preparado para brindar un excelente servicio.
• Informar al equipo de gerencia sobre cualquier pregunta, problema o inquietud de los clientes.
• Limpiar y mantener en buen estado todos los equipos y utensilios necesarios para desempeñar el puesto.
• Informar inmediatamente al supervisor sobre cualquier problema con el equipo.
• Comunicarse y trabajar en equipo con compañeros y gerencia de manera amable, positiva y entusiasta.
• Seguir todas las listas de verificación y realizar las tareas necesarias correspondientes al puesto.
• Cumplir con todas las normas y procedimientos de seguridad establecidos por el restaurante.
• Apoyar a los meseros en las tareas necesarias para mantener sus mesas y ayudar a sus clientes durante toda su visita.

• Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante largos períodos de tiempo.
• Capacidad para levantar un mínimo de 50 libras (aproximadamente 23 kg) y utilizar correctamente una bandeja.
• Obtener y mantener actualizadas todas las certificaciones requeridas.

Busser

Provide friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful service of food and beverage following established quality and time standards. Maintain a high awareness of cleanliness in the restaurant, not only at the tables but throughout its entirety. Support server, bartenders, and all team members by helping to maintain tables and efficiently deliver correct food and drinks to guests. Assist in any special cleaning projects, including repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with guests and coworkers in a positive, friendly, and hospitable manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, while following proper uniform guidelines.
• Assemble/disassemble workstations promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of station during shift; Stock and replenish, as needed.
• Maintain adequate levels of ice for drink preparation.
• Observe all state and federal laws regarding the service of food and alcohol, including current certifications.
• Bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant.
• Polish silverware and glassware, to ensure the restaurant is set up for success.
• Communicate any questions, issues, or guest concerns to the management team.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and utensils necessary for job performance.
• Report any issues with equipment immediately to the supervisor.
• Communicate and work together with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Follow all checklists and perform all necessary tasks required for your position. Must follow all safety guidelines set out by the restaurant.
• Assist restaurant servers in tasks necessary to maintain their tables and assist their guests throughout the visit.

Qualifications:

• Able to stand for long periods.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and properly utilize a tray.
• Obtain and update any required certifications.
