Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift from 08:00 to 17:00, must start by 9/8.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide customized and intense rehabilitation care tailored to the individual needs of patients recovering from various conditions, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. Your role will focus on maximizing the health, function, and overall quality of life for the patients you serve.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patient needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance recovery and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes and expectations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Preferably 1 or more years of inpatient experience in settings such as IRF, SNF, or Acute care; no new graduates please. Certification and a valid Physical Therapist license are required.
