OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Accomac, VA by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Transport hazardous freight nationwide solo with HMD Trucking’s OTR division.
Job Overview:
- Operate sub-three-year equipment featuring APU, inverter and sleeper
- Follow rigorous hazmat procedures and federal safety guidelines
Essential Tasks:
- Average 2,500 safe miles weekly
- Perform DOT-mandated pre-trip inspections and use in-house maintenance support
- Earn bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals
