Location Address:221 Grove Street, New Castle, Pennsylvania 16101Work Shift:8hr-2nd Shift (United States of America)Shift: 2nd shift 3:50pm-12:20amPay: $18.00 per hour with a $0.50 shift differentialJOB SUMMARY:The Material Handler receives, stores and distributes raw materials and supplies to designated staging areas. This position will be operating within our grinding room to ensure bottles from our production lines are placed in the correct grinding bin and managing material outflow.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.Operate forklift to unload inbound and outbound shipments.Visually inspect materials and report discrepancies in quality.Prepare materials for grinding process.Transport and store materials, finished products and supplies to appropriate staging area. Report locations for proper labeling.Transport scrapped materials from production line to the grinder area.Maintain cleanliness of ramp, dock and compactor area.Other duties as assigned by managementKeep assigned work area clean and orderly and dispose of scrap material properly.Perform all work in order to ensure the safety of yourself and all other plant personnel.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.QUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
