Position Overview AMFM Healthcare is seeking a Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic group sessions for our in‑person IOP/OP program. In this role, you will guide clients through evidence-based practices, helping them develop the skills necessary for long‑term stability and recovery. Ideal candidates will have experience facilitating groups in Art Therapy, Fitness/Wellness, Psychodrama, or other mental health modalities . Not currently looking for Music Therapy Key Responsibilities Facilitate group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices. Work with acute clients experiencing co‑occurring mood disorders, substance use, and suicidal ideation. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and California Licensing Standards . Provide therapeutic interventions and create individualized care plans with measurable objectives. Document client progress , develop transition and discharge plans, and maintain accurate clinical records. Assist in crisis intervention and act as a point of contact for families regarding clinical care. Participate in staff meetings, quality management initiatives, and training programs . Adhere to ethical standards, legal guidelines, and AMFM Healthcare’s policies and procedures. Qualifications Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s, however a Master’s degree in a clinically related field is highly preferred. Experience: Leading group therapy sessions (process, psychoeducational, etc.). Working with individuals struggling with mental health and addiction issues . Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check and required screenings. Physical ability to sit for long periods, use a computer, and lift up to 10 lbs.
