Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-Call and Weekend Rotation as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting at a Short-Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Participate in on-call duties and weekend rotation as required by unit scheduling
• Float between like units or campuses within the system as operationally needed
• Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and documentation standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience required; first-time travelers must have 3+ years of recent ER experience
• At least one prior completed travel assignment required (unless candidate holds 3+ years of recent experience)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• Must be willing to work 48-hour weeks when required and work a minimum of 1–2 holidays if they fall within the assignment period
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3+ years of recent Emergency Room or trauma nursing experience
• Large hospital or high-volume facility experience preferred
• EPIC electronic health records experience preferred
