Responsibilities:
- Familiar with Product and process audits, internal audits, implement corrective actions, and maintain the quality standards.
- Participate in APQP with project team members.
- Develop and implement control plans and inspection methods of manufactured parts and assemblies.
- Assess process quality checks for over or under inspection.
- Assist production through training and demonstration of applicable quality procedures, while representing the customer viewpoint.
- Facilitate problem solving in a manufacturing environment. Initiate corrective actions in a team environment.
- Interface with customers solving quality issues and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Consult with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel on measurement techniques.
- Conduct process and product audits and report to the Quality Manager problems and possible solutions.
- Additional duties as assigned
- Four-year technical degree in industrial, mechanical, or quality engineering, or 2 years quality experience
- Must have hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems and testing methodologies
- Able to read and understand automotive drawings
- Familiar with systems and product audit techniques
- Must be familiar with automotive PPAP, APQP, SPC, PFMEA (Core Tools) requirements
- Familiar with inspection gage/tool design and certification techniques
- Familiar with IATF 16949 Quality System requirements
Compensation details: 70000-100000 Yearly Salary
