BAGGER-TUBE DRYER-GLASGOW Full Time Manual Labor Glasgow, KY, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1266 About the Role: The Bagger-Tube Dryer operator in Glasgow plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of bagging and tube drying machinery within a manufacturing or processing environment. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire drying and bagging process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and production targets. The role requires close monitoring of equipment performance, timely troubleshooting of mechanical issues, and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this role ensures that finished products are properly dried, packaged, and prepared for distribution, supporting overall operational success. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating industrial bagging or drying equipment. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in industrial machinery operation or maintenance. Experience working in a manufacturing or processing plant environment. Familiarity with quality control standards related to drying and packaging processes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Basic computer skills for logging production data and reporting. Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following: Fill and heat seal 20-55 lb. bags to the proper weight, sew bags as needed. Maintain daily records and reports. Sample products according to all established QC standards. Ensure bags are properly labeled, number and palletized. Document and tag each pallet of finished product. Complies with plant regulations concerning GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety rules and work rules, and loss control procedures. Responsible for identifying and addressing any food safety hazards. Responsible for attending all required safety and food safety training. Assist in sanitation of equipment in accordance with established sanitation procedures. Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, climbing ladders and stairs, and carrying up to 85 pounds. Environmental Demands: Noise levels above 85 DBA. Hot and cold working environment.
