Job Description Agricultural Loan Officer - Missouri (Community Bank)
Are you passionate about the Ag industry and ready to make a real impact in your rural community? A well-established, family-focused community bank in Missouri is looking for an Agricultural Loan Officer to build lasting relationships with local producers and agribusiness clients.
This is not a desk job. You’ll be out in the field-literally-meeting with farmers, learning about their operations, and helping them access the financial tools they need to grow.

What You’ll Do:
- Build and manage a portfolio of agricultural and rural loans
- Call on prospects and clients to develop new relationships
- Analyze credit risk and structure loan packages
- Ensure portfolio profitability and credit quality benchmarks are met
- Collaborate with an experienced support team and approachable executive leadership
- 1+ years in community banking or lending
- Strong personal or professional background in agriculture (farm/ranch experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Sound judgment and negotiation ability
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong reputation and long-term client relationships
