Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse located in the vicinity of the 405 area code. This position involves providing specialized emergency care to trauma, stroke, obstetric, and advanced cardiac patients. The role requires quick clinical assessments and the ability to work independently during night shifts. Job Details Position Description: Conducting clinician interviews via phone call or text from a 405 area code. Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa nursing license or multi-state license, current and active BLS (American Heart Association or ARC), ACLS (American Heart Association or ARC), PALS (American Heart Association or ARC), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and De-Escalation Certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, CPI). 24 months of current/Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred, with recent travel experience highly preferred. All certifications must be active. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility, have no recent employment at the facility within the past 12 months, and be available to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. Orientation dates are scheduled for 9/21 and 9/28. Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred. Submission Requirements: Candidates must have a current Iowa license, active certifications, and provide professional references from within the past 24 months. Drivers License verification required.
