As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Auburn Hills, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, clear communication, and being part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, verify credentials and/or visitor information when required, and document daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
• Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and first responders during urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
