• Shift / Schedule: 5x8's, Monday-Friday (shifts may vary in start/end times due to department needs)

Job Summary: This position requires an experienced oncology nurse to provide direct patient care in an ambulatory clinic setting. The role involves triaging and calling post-operative patients, requiring knowledge of hepatobiliary and surgical considerations alongside oncology expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ambulatory oncology nursing care
• Administer and manage chemotherapy treatments
• Triage and call post-operative patients
• Assess patients requiring hepatobiliary and surgical follow-up care

Required Skills:

• 2 years of ambulatory oncology RN experience
• Chemotherapy administration knowledge and competency
• Proficiency in post-operative patient assessment and communication
• Hepatobiliary and surgical patient care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Skills:

• Chemotherapy certification

Education Requirements:

• CA RN License (must be active at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Chemo certification preferred
