Job Description

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations in a manufacturing environment while actively working on the production floor. This role ensures that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and with high quality, while providing hands-on leadership and guidance to the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production staff on the manufacturing floor, serving as a working supervisor who actively participates in daily operations.
• Coordinate and manage production activities to ensure schedules, output targets, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources effectively to maintain smooth and efficient production processes.
• Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members to promote high performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to established manufacturing procedures, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Identify and address production issues or bottlenecks promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to support production planning, problem-solving, and process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with facility standards and policies.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience in production supervision or production management.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a production team.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear instructions and feedback to team members.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working as a hands-on supervisor on the production floor.
• Experience in overseeing daily production activities and meeting output targets.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility designed to provide a comfortable and safe working environment. You will spend most of your time on the production floor, working closely with the team and equipment in a well-maintained, organized setting that supports efficient and high-quality operations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn, AL.

The pay range for this position is $49000.00 - $58000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
