Job Title: CDL Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused individual to perform local deliveries and assist with shop operations on a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight using both enclosed trailers and flatbeds.
• Ensure proper load securement practices are followed.
• Assist with shop operations and perform basic mechanical tasks when not driving.
• Perform deliveries for construction sites and customers.
• Conduct local deliveries in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Skills

• Valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record.
• Experience in driving enclosed vans/trailers and flatbed or step deck trailers.
• Knowledge of load securement, strapping, and transportation safety requirements.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for light repair or maintenance tasks.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Willingness to assist with shop operations when not driving.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delanco, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
