Senior Accountant

A well-established and growing real estate investment and management company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a high-impact, highly visible role partnering directly with leadership. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning key components of the close process across multiple entities and investments. Successful candidates must have their CPA or be in the process of getting it. Responsibilities Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages Manage lease accounting reconciliations and related schedules Process monthly base rent and percentage rent calculations Oversee tax filing support, including reconciliation of tax liability accounts Track, record, and capitalize capital projects in accordance with U.S. GAAP Maintain and update fixed asset roll forward schedules and depreciation Collaborate cross-functionally Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3+ years of progressive accounting experience CPA passed or in progress Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Advanced Excel Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities If this position is of interest please apply, alternatively if you would like to discuss your job search and other Accounting & Finance opportunities please email your resume to Lily Gould, Senior Recruiting Specialist: View email address on click.appcast.io Next Level Resources, Inc. is a professional staffing firm dedicated to finding exceptional Accounting and Finance talent on a permanent and consultant/interim basis for clients throughout San Diego County. #J-18808-Ljbffr Next Level Resources, Inc.
