OverviewTitle: Senior Reporting AnalystIndustry: EntertainmentDuration: 8+ month contractLocation: 100% Remote, EST HoursBase pay range: $45.00/hr - $52.50/hrWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting using Tableau and Power BI. As a Senior Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining complex reports and dashboards that help stakeholders across the organization make data-driven decisions, especially as it pertains to Jira.Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.Contact: If interested, please contact Jenna Hinkle at View email address on click.appcast.io and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI, providing actionable insights to business stakeholders.Data Integration and Modeling: Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure smooth integration of data sources into Tableau and Power BI; build and maintain data models; create data pipelines and automated workflows to refresh reports.Data Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement; perform ad hoc analysis and provide actionable recommendations; use statistical methods to interpret data and present findings to non-technical audiences.Stakeholder Engagement and Support: Work with business users to gather reporting requirements, understand goals, and create customized reporting solutions; provide training and support on Tableau/Power BI dashboards; assist stakeholders in interpreting data and troubleshooting issues.Performance and Optimization: Monitor performance of Tableau and Power BI reports; optimize queries and data models to improve speed; identify opportunities to streamline data sources and automate processes.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with Tableau and Power BI features and best practices; contribute to ongoing improvement of data reporting processes; lead or participate in knowledge-sharing and mentorship for junior analysts.Basic Qualifications5-10 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence; hands-on experience building and maintaining Tableau and Power BI reports and dashboards.Tools & Technologies: Expert-level proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI (Desktop and Server/Online).Experience with SQL for querying databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift).Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake).Familiarity with Jira.Data Analysis & Visualization: Ability to analyze large datasets and create meaningful, visually appealing reports and dashboards.Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot complex reporting issues and offer effective solutions.Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven insights.Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in report creation and data interpretation.Preferred QualificationsExperience with data warehousing and ETL processes.Knowledge of Python, R, or other statistical programming languages.Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.Experience working with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver solutions.Experience with Jira and JQL.EducationBachelor's DegreeBenefitsComprehensive medical benefitsCompetitive pay401(k) retirement plan...and much more!About INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
