We are seeking a Senior Director of Toxicology to provide scientific and administrative leadership. Responsibilities include allocating and prioritizing resources, consulting on scientific and business issues, budgeting and approval of expenses, communicating and implementing corporate priorities and policies, implementing departmental or divisional strategy, streamlining business practices and service on intra- and inter-departmental committees. Apply today and join the Lilly family!ResponsibilitiesProvide strategy planning and oversight of toxicology research and portfolio support activities of the divisionReview and approve Regulatory submissionsSupervise research and professional staff. Develop performance plans and objectives for staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide mentoring and coaching to staff to facilitate their professional development.Serve on toxicology leadership and scientific review committees, providing strategic oversight and approval of toxicology study designs and resultsEngage in external partnerships and manage business relationships and vendorsPerform responsibilities delegated by senior managementBasic QualificationsPhD in Toxicology, or related science ORDVM with MS in Toxicology, public health or related science10+ Technical Expertise in Pharmaceutical Toxicology10+ Regulatory Experience with nonclinical safety issuesAdditional Skills/PreferencesDABT preferred but not requiredFamiliarity with ICH and Regional Regulatory guidanceLilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions. The anticipated wage for this position is$163,500 - $239,800Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
