Cardiac ICU Experience Needed

What is needed is a strong cardiac ICU experience which usually is CCU or CVICU. This experience is needed because of the cardiac devices and cardiac diagnoses that our patients often have. For example: LVAD, Impella, IABP, TVP are advanced cardiac devices that only CVICU or a strong CCU/ Cardiopulmonary ICU are trained to take care of. Cardiac/ medical intensive care patients as well as some step down overflow.
