Job Summary and Responsibilities As our General Adult Psychiatrist you will join our dynamic Psychiatric Associates team providing outpatient care in the Council Bluffs, IA area. You will schedule Monday - Friday, with flexibility for hybrid practice balancing inpatient and outpatient care. Your core focus is providing tailored, personal, coordinated treatment to patients experiencing a wide array of mental and behavioral conditions. You will engage in minor academic activities and be supported by a robust leadership team committed to professional growth. Success in this role is measured through a combination of your productivity, evidence in meeting clinical benchmarks, and effective collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Key indicators include high patient satisfaction scores, adherence to evidence-based medicine guidelines, and consistent achievement of clinical benchmarks. Job Requirements Required Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology – General Adult Psychiatry Active or eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Iowa DEA in good standing with no restrictions BLS certification A record of excellence in clinical care and education Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care Location Working at CHI Health Clinic Psychiatric Associates – Mercy Council Bluffs, an integral part of a comprehensive service line across NE and Southwest IA.
