SAP S/4HANA P2P & Integration Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay Lead Consultant to support procurement transformation, integration design, and end-to-end P2P process delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA procurement, SAP MM/P2P processes, Ariba or Coupa, and enterprise system integrations.

This role requires a functional leader who can work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, integration teams, and third-party vendors to design, configure, test, and support scalable procurement and integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Own end-to-end P2P processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice processing, supplier processes, and integration touchpoints.
• Work with business teams to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, define business process flows, and translate requirements into functional specifications.
• Support procurement tool integration with SAP S/4HANA, preferably SAP Ariba or Coupa.
• Lead or support integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external enterprise systems, with Salesforce integration experience strongly preferred.
• Partner with middleware, API, and technical development teams to define integration mappings, data flows, transformation logic, error handling, and validation rules.
• Prepare functional specifications for interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms, workflows, and other RICEFW objects.
• Support integration testing, SIT, UAT, defect triage, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Ensure master data and transactional data consistency across SAP S/4HANA, procurement tools, Salesforce, and other connected platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, supply chain, finance, IT, sales/service operations, and external vendors.
• Provide best-practice recommendations for P2P process improvements, automation, compliance, and reporting.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of SAP functional experience, with strong focus on SAP MM / Procure-to-Pay.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA procurement processes.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end P2P business processes including requisitioning, purchasing, supplier collaboration, goods receipt, invoicing, and procurement reporting.
• Experience with at least one P2P/procurement platform such as SAP Ariba or Coupa.
• Strong integration experience involving SAP S/4HANA and external enterprise systems.
• Experience working with APIs, middleware, IDocs, EDI, file-based integrations, or similar integration frameworks.
• Ability to create functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, integration mapping documents, and business requirement documentation.
• Experience supporting testing cycles including unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as a functional lead and collaborate with global onsite/offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce integration experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, or SAP Business Network.
• Coupa implementation or integration experience is a plus.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, SAP CPI, Boomi, or similar tools.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, supply chain, service center operations, inventory management, or after-sales business processes.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Flexible Workflow, BRF+, output management, and S/4HANA embedded analytics.
• SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement or SAP Ariba certification is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
