Job Duties:
Workers will be required to perform a variety of duties as described in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse ( including:
Recording information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, or costs.
Participating in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops.
Cleaning, repairing, and maintaining farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment.
Operating tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow, fertilize soil, and plant, cultivate, spray, or harvest crops.
Loading agricultural products into trucks without overfilling or underfilling the bed or trailer, and driving to market or storage facilities.
Cleaning work areas and maintaining grounds and landscaping.
Regulate conditions.
Minimum Education Required
None. No High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Required
Three (3) months of recent and verifiable experience in the listed job duties is required.
Workers must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
The worker must be able to obtain an appropriate non-CDL driver's license after hire and maintain a clean driving record.
Upon hire, workers may be required to undergo random drug testing at no cost to them. A positive test result for illegal or controlled substances, or failure to comply, may result in immediate termination of employment.

Additional Compensation
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 03/24/2025). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
