Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Night 4x12-Hour Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift with 4x12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Job Description The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in the care of mothers and their newborns during labor and delivery. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring the highest standards of practice. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the labor and delivery unit. Monitor fetal heart rates and provide interventions as needed. Assist in the delivery of infants and transition care post-delivery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for high-risk pregnancies. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience. Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license. BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications are required. STABLE certification preferred.
