Research Nurse Coordinator - Oncology/Hematology

About This Role The Research Nurse Coordinator in Oncology/Hematology at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital will ensure compliance with research program requirements while coordinating the implementation and conduct of medium to high complexity human subject research projects. Highlights Location: Weston, FL Facility: Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Coordinate the implementation and conduct of research projects, ensuring adherence to research protocol requirements and timely completion. Complete and communicate regulatory documents, develop data and monitoring plans, report Serious Adverse Events, and complete FDA and sponsor forms. Serve as a liaison between investigators, research personnel, and central research administration offices. Assess research subjects, complete nursing assessments, and document findings in research subject records. Establish a care plan in collaboration with the research subject, family, and research team. Identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning as appropriate. Perform telephone triage, nursing procedures, and treatments. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician or licensed independent provider (LIP). Participate in education, research, and performance improvement activities. Conduct and document the informed consent process. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience Four years of clinical experience Two years of research experience Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Certification in Human Subjects Research within 90 days of hire About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
